LowellBank Announces Senior Management Positions

Lowell, MA – The Board of Directors of LowellBank is pleased to announce the following promotions:
Patricia Koczera to the position of Senior Vice President – Retail Lending. Koczera has more than 25 years experience in Greater Lowell’s retail banking, business development and small business banking market. In her position as Senior Vice President – Retail Banking, Koczera will oversee the Retail Banking, Marketing & Public Relations, New Business Development, and Community Development functions of the Bank. Prior to joining LowellBank in November 2007, Koczera held a Senior Vice President position with TD Bank in the Retail Division of TD Bank. She lives in Dracut with her husband and family.

Michael R. Breda to the position of Senior Vice President - Portfolio Lending. In his new position Breda will lead the residential portfolio loans and consumer lending areas for the Bank and will work closely with the newly purchased Omega Mortgage Division to offer portfolio products. Breda joined the bank in April of 2009 as Assistant Vice President after leaving his previous position at Pioneer Mortgage Company. Born and raised on the North Shore, Breda is now a resident of Methuen.
Jeffrey Guimond to the position of Senior Vice President – Bank Operations. Guimond joined LowellBank in 2009 as Vice President of Credit Administration. In his new capacity, Guimond will oversee Loan Servicing and will assume responsibility for the Bank’s Information Technology, Compliance, Bank Operations, and Data Processing Departments. Guimond’s experience includes over 16 years in banking, most recently as Senior Vice President at Benjamin Franklin Bank where he served as Senior Retail Lender and Loan Operations Officer prior to joining LowellBank in 2009. Guimond lives in Lowell.

John Mattison to the position of Vice President – Commercial Credit. Mattison has held the position of Senior Commercial Credit Officer since joining LowellBank in 2009 and has been instrumental in establishing the Bank’s Credit Administration Department. In his new position he will continue to oversee credit analysis and administration of the Bank’s commercial lending portfolio. Mattson’s career includes various positions in banking including positions as Commercial Loan Officer, Credit Analyst, and in Small Business Lending.
Timothy Frechette to Vice President - Commercial Lending Team. Frechette joined Lowell Cooperative as Assistant Vice President – Commercial Lending in 2009 after previously holding the position of Business Banking Officer at TD Bank. His promotion to Vice President is in recognition of the significant contributions he has made to the growth and development of the Bank’s Commercial Lending and New Business Development Departments. In addition to his prior employment at TD Bank, Frechette’s 20 years of experience include a position as Vice President of Wurlitzer Distributing Co, Inc., as founder and owner of MJF Lubricants, and nine years with the former BayBank. Frechette lives in Methuen with his wife and two sons.
