LowellBank Announces the Addition of Elkin Montoya to the Bank’s Personal Business Banking Team

Lowell, MA – Richard E. Bolton, Jr., President & Chief Executive Officer of LowellBank is pleased to announce the addition of Elkin Montoya as New Business Development Officer. In this position Montoya will be responsible for cultivating new business relationships for the bank, specifically in the areas of Residential Mortgage Origination and Small Business Lending. Montoya comes to LowellBank from Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union where he held the position of Assistant Treasurer and Mortgage Originator.

Bolton, Jr. Since 2007 Montoya has served as President of the Coalition for a Better Acre, an organization of which he has been an active member since 2002. Montoya has also been an honored member of the Lowell Rotary Club since 1994 having received both their Rotarian of the Year and Distinguished Service Awards. He has past and present affiliations with the House of Hope, Greater Lowell Technical School, Northeast Builders Associations, and the Scholarship Committee of Lowell High School.
Fluent in Spanish, Montoya holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in Marketing from the former University of Lowell, and is currently pursuing both a Masters Degree in Community Economic Development from Southern New Hampshire University and a Certificate of Financial Planning from Colorado College of Financial Planning.
Long-time residents of Lowell, Montoya and his wife presently live in the Pawtucketville section of Lowell and are communicants of St. Patrick Church.
